What’s the difference between the KBG Select and other Moccamaster models?
The KBG Select is designed to brew both half and full carafes with the same great flavour. It features a manual adjust brew basket and a selector switch to optimise water flow and temperature depending on the batch size.
How much coffee can the KBG Select brew?
It can brew up to 1.25 litres (10 cups) of coffee in around 6 minutes. Thanks to the Select switch, it also performs exceptionally well when brewing smaller amounts.
Does the Moccamaster KBG Select keep coffee hot?
Yes, it has a built-in hotplate with an intelligent auto-off feature. It keeps your coffee at the ideal temperature (80-85°C) for up to 40 minutes before automatically turning off for safety.
What filters does it use?
It uses standard size No. 4 paper cone filters, which are widely available and easy to use.
