Filter: Dose 15g-16g, water 250g. 
Espresso: Dose 18 gram to 40-42 gram yield over about 30 seconds.

  • About Bwishaza Natural | Rwanda

    Our coffees from Rwanda are directly traded with producers and we are able to offer full transparency and detailed information on these coffees. For more information on how we source coffees take a look at our Transparency Report.

    Coffee is delivered daily during the harvest period (February to June) by small-hold farmers. Usually, they deliver anything between 10 and 100kg depending on the size of their farm.

    After delivery coffee is hand sorted and floated in water to remove defects. It is then moved to raised drying to tables and dried in a thin layer for one week. After initial drying the coffee layer is made thicker to slow down the drying process.

    This is a traditional natural processed coffee with a clean, balanced flavour profile and tasting notes that include orange, strawberry and brown sugar sweetness.

Bwishaza washing station is co-operative owned and works with around 500 small-hold farmers. The co-operative produces a wide range of coffees with their main focus on clean, juicy, bright washed coffees. They also produce a range of natural processed coffees specifically for us.

Really delicious coffee promptly delivered

Friends had recommended Horsham, but for one reason it another it took me a while to take the plunge. But I wish I'd ordered earlier. This is one of the best coffees I've had in a very long while. I'll be ordering again.
